The Role

As a Quality Lead at Veeva OpenData, you will be streamlining quality control processes while leading a remote team of Quality Control Data Stewards.
 
Champion quality by collaborating across departments to optimize reporting, workflows, and documentation. Foster a detail-oriented, excellence-driven team culture.

The ideal candidate for this role has a process-oriented mindset and is strong in people management, too.

What You'll Do
  • Design, innovate, and optimize processes and workflows to ensure best-in-class delivery of data quality and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation, including policies, training materials, and work instructions
  • Lead a team of 20+ Quality Control Data Stewards from onboarding and coaching to performance review
  • Work as a team with fellow Quality Leads to ensure alignment on Quality Control processes. Monitor performance and empower the Quality Control team to meet quality and productivity targets and deadlines
  • Run reports on data quality and performance
  • Support the Quality Manager in analyzing data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities of improvements
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders like Operations, Engineering, and Product Management

  • Requirements
  • Experience in implementing and/or developing Quality Control processes
  • Process-oriented mindset and systems thinking with a proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements
  • Strong people management skills. Preferably 3-5 years of leading and managing high-performance teams in a service center environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive “can do” attitude
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and keep projects on track
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, clear and concise communication, and ability to
  • Experience in analysis of complex datasets, creation of dashboards
  • Proficiency in Google Apps, MS Office, and other office software
  • Fluency in English

  • Experience with data management and data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with querying relational databases using SQL or a similar language
  • Experience working with MDM (master data management) applications
  • Understanding of Healthcare systems
