Job Description:

CSS is seeking a Dental Specialty Coordinator who is cross-trained in both oral surgery and orthodontic admin duties to join our team in Houston and the surrounding cities. This is a full-time position that includes occasional work-from-home opportunities. The Dental Specialty Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of our specialty team, serving as a liaison between our clients (dental offices), traveling team, and remote services. This role requires a commitment to professional and clinical excellence, as well as a passion for teaching and interacting with staff members of all skill levels to improve patient experience and financial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with up to 15 GP practices to support and maintain productivity
  • Complete practice assessments
  • Review treatment plans and insurance verifications with office staff and specialists
  • Exercise leadership skills with the travel team to ensure successful production days
  • Assist office staff with all specialty-related denials, including duplicate claims, timely filing, EOB requests, not medically necessary denials, COB denials, and COP denials
  • Provide feedback to providers, departments, and offices in relation to revenue-impacting details
  • Develop and conduct problem-solving techniques
  • Support and enforce CSS regulations with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate exceptional integrity and composure with patients, staff, and specialists
  • Correspond with patients who have questions about treatments

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in dental office management/coordinator roles
  • Cross-trained in both oral surgery and orthodontic services
  • 2+ years of recent specialty coding and billing experience
  • Comfortable with presenting dental information to patients
  • Licensed RDA preferred
