In this position

As the FAE Manager for Hailo.AI in the US, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in a rapidly growing technology startup, contributing to Hailo's sales expansion in North America.  

Collaborating closely with customers, partners, and headquarters staff, this role plays a key part in ensuring the best of Hailo’s technical expertise and experience are directed effectively across the FAE and Sales teams. You will ensure that our local field team and our HQ-based customer success team are well-aligned to take on the tasks of delighting our customers with the latest technical approaches, tools, and strategies. You will be playing the dual role as manager, deploying resources on the priorities aligned with the GM’s North American strategies and working directly with key customers as their primary technical liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small team of field application engineers (FAEs) to provide technical support, solution development, and customer engagement across our AI product portfolio. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer adoption & satisfaction and directly impact revenue growth through effective pre-sales and post-sales technical support. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their technical requirements, challenges, and business objectives. 
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to align FAE activities with design win targets, product roadmaps, and market trends. 
  • Coordinate closely with HQ’s Customer Success teams and R&D teams to ensure clear communication, resources, and tools are provided to the FAE teams and provide key messaging to the Sales Directors & GM 
  • Monitor and analyze field application performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement. 
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to FAEs to enhance their technical skills, product knowledge, and customer engagement capabilities. 
  • Drive customer feedback and insights internally to inform product development, roadmap prioritization, and service improvements. 
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote our semiconductor solutions and gather market intelligence. 

Requirements

  • Location - remote position – with a willingness to travel to the HQ on multiple occasions each year (~3-4 times), and regular travel within the US in support of customers ~ 25%.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, industry events, and company offices as needed. 
  • It will be critical this person interfaces regularly during the week with HQ, and accounts for that time zone.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred 
  • Demonstrated success in semiconductor solution selling (10+ years as an FAE) with a track record of managing and inspiring a high-performing FAE team (5+ years) 
  • Deep technical knowledge of semiconductor products, applications, and industry trends. 
  • Experience at the solution level, with a strong understanding of HW & SW to debug issues, define solutions, and engage customers on their full AI system 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams. 
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on driving customer success, satisfaction 
  • Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change
