  • Monitor and report on network and system performance and bandwidth requirements and provide proactive solutions for improvements and problems
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for various IT systems, networks, procedures, policies, and standards
  • Follow the documented IT operational processes including but is not limited to the employee journey, technical change management, request management, incident, and problem management
  • Act as a senior technical resource and escalation point for front-line IT support resources
  • Contribute towards the development of fiscal year operating and capital budgets

  • 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure and AWS, a variety of storage systems and projects in large enterprises
  • Experience with Backup / Restore solutions such as Commvault
  • 5 years of experience providing service delivery for enterprise networking and network security infrastructure, particularly for LAN, wireless LAN, WAN and SDWAN services
  • 5 years of experience providing first and second level incident management for enterprise LAN, wireless LAN, WAN, SDWAN and network security services
  • Experience using network security tools in an enterprise environment (Solarwinds, PRTG, Netmon)

OTHER CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to travel within the Southern Ontario area
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required
  • Must be available for on-call 1 per 5 weeks
