Job description

As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance online visibility for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize website content, identify opportunities for growth, and ensure that our digital presence aligns with industry best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SEO techniques, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful SEO campaigns.


Responsibilities:


Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website visibility across major search engines.


Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords, analyze competition, and optimize website content accordingly.


Optimize website structure, meta tags, page titles, and headings to enhance search engine relevance and crawlability.


Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify areas for improvement and track progress.


Collaborate with content creators to optimize existing content and develop new SEO-friendly content that aligns with a keyword strategy.


Perform on-page and off-page optimization activities, including link building, directory submissions, and social media engagement.


Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and SEO best practices to proactively recommend strategies for continuous improvement.


Conduct regular audits to ensure website health, identify technical SEO issues, and implement solutions for improved performance.


Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and ROI.


Collaborate with web developers and designers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented during website development or redesign projects.


Provide SEO recommendations and guidance to other teams and stakeholders, including content creators, web developers, and marketing teams.


Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the SEO field and share knowledge and insights with the team.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.


2 years experience as an SEO Executive or similar role, with a focus on developing and implementing successful SEO strategies.


In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.


Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.


Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.


Excellent understanding of on-page and off-page SEO optimization techniques.


Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization.


Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.


Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends, techniques, and industry changes.


Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and resolving SEO issues.


Professional certifications in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Google AdWords) are a plus.
