Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team at Inches N Feet. As an Architect, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including architectural design, BIM services, structural analysis, permit drawings, 3D rendering, quantity take-offs, and MEP coordination. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in architectural design and possess a strong passion for creating innovative and functional spaces.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in architectural design
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
• Experience in structural analysis and detailing
• Familiarity with 3D rendering, animation, and virtual reality tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design team, and contractors
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and the design team to develop creative architectural solutions that meet project requirements
• Prepare architectural design drawings, presentations, and detailed construction documents
• Utilize BIM software to create accurate and detailed models
• Conduct structural analysis and develop detailed structural drawings
• Prepare permit drawings and collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Create high-quality 3D renderings, animations, and virtual reality walkthroughs
• Perform quantity take-offs and provide cost estimation for projects
• Coordinate with MEP team to ensure efficient integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Provide support during construction phases, review shop drawings, and address any design-related issues
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural design
