Primary Responsibilities:

  • Keep products in your portfolio operating at peak performance by monitoring KPIs and recommending improvements.
  • Innovate on your products to improve user experience and drive down costs.
  • Develop and rally your team members around a shared vision and product strategy.
  • Contribute to and execute yearly roadmaps.
  • Own the product lifecycle.
  • Present regularly to stakeholders in upper management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure product opportunities are valuable to customers, viable for the business, easy to use, and technically feasible.
  • Write clear and concise product documents to get buy-in and receive investment to build.
  • Build and maintain relationships across Vivint at various levels from PM to Executive level.
  • Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting results.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to prepare business cases, operations, sales, supply chain, and support product channels for launch.
  • Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities, and become a subject matter expert on designated products.

  • Capable of creating a plan out of an ambiguous problem.

Required Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of product management experience
  • Hardware experience (preferred, but not required)
  • Relevant work experience with defining and delivering consumer products and/or services.
  • Ability to learn quickly.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
