Talascend is currently seeking a Design Authority Change Management Program Coordinator for a remote contract opportunity.

OVERVIEW:

The Natrium Design Authority Change Management Program Coordinator reports directly to the Natrium Engineering Process Manager and is focused on launching, coordinating and integrating various change and program review venues. In this role, you will act as the liaison and coordinator to the Engineering and Project Management teams in support of the Natrium project, ensuring seamless integration between key change meetings and programs.

This role will work as part of a high-performing team of engineers, and technical or process leaders on developing systems of next generation reactors and other highly technical projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply project and program management and coordination tools and techniques to daily work and regular meetings and engagements.
  • Identify, advocate, and resolve deficiencies in design program implementation and Engineering Change Request (ECR) process/tool implementation across Natrium.
  • Manage stakeholders’ communication and integration.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and ownership of design program coordination across Natrium, to include setting expectations for our partner organizations and others’ leading programs across Natrium.
  • Establish best practices and communication channels for design programs and ECR administration coordination.
  • Contribute to development, maintenance and support of the overall ECR and design program integration meetings.
  • Establish cadence for the following related meetings.
  • ECR review and decision board.
  • Program coordination meeting.
  • Help develop, execute strategy of design programs including developing program plans and program review meetings.
  • Support scheduled program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program and support priorities for managing the programs.
  • Ensure ECRs tracked and closed out by running process and establishing and tracking metrics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in project management, coordination or program management.
  • Process improvement experience, with proven ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities to implement continuous improvement solutions.
  • Ability to juggle and manage numerous priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to perform both individually and as a team contributor.
