Job description

Are you interested in joining our dynamic fully-remote team at the Merit Circle DAO? We are constantly in search of new talent to join our Support team, playing a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our users and helping to make blockchain games more accessible for the masses.

We are in search of candidates with experience in a support role in the video games industry and ideally with web3 experience. As a member of the Support team, you will play an important role in assisting users, creating support materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of our support efforts. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced company at the forefront of web3 gaming, working with the most innovative teams in the game industry.

For this role, we require candidates with at least 1 year of experience in the video games industry and a proven track record in customer support. You will be responsible for distilling complex ideas into simpler terms, providing patient and positive assistance, and handling user queries across the various platforms of Merit Circle and Beam. We are looking for creative thinkers with strong communication skills, capable of generating high-quality educational resources and working collaboratively with product teams to enhance user experience. Additionally, we value individuals who are proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Your day-to-day activities as a team-member in Support can include: 

  • Assist the Head of Support in the development of the current knowledge base of support articles 
  • Assist in the development of the support website
  • Gathering user feedback and questions to create new support articles
  • Answering user queries through Zendesk
  • Answering user queries through Telegram
  • Answering user queries through Twitter

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a support role, preferably in the video game or web3 industry
  • Above basic knowledge of cryptocurrency, NFTs, and/or blockchain technology, understanding their relevance and application within the gaming sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Answer technical customer inquiries via email
  • Generate high-quality educational resources for our users and team
  • Work collaboratively with our product team and engineers to understand, prioritize and implement user feedback

These requirements are essential for success in the Support team. They will enable you to effectively manage user inquiries, create valuable support resources, and communicate complex ideas in an accessible manner. Your organizational skills and understanding of support principles will be crucial in handling multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the smooth operation of our support efforts.
