Job description

Our client is a forward-thinking Analytics leader dedicated to driving growth through data-driven customer experiences. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with exceptional expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP) in Malaysia.

The Role

Lead the integration and management of customer data within our CDP, ensuring seamless data flow from various sources to drive personalized customer experiences.
Design and implement advanced ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich customer data, maximizing its value.
Spearhead efforts to optimize and scale our CDP infrastructure, guaranteeing exceptional performance and reliability.
Architect data models that align with business objectives, enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and personalization.
Enforce rigorous data governance standards to uphold data security, compliance, and privacy protocols.
Maintain meticulous documentation of data pipelines and best practices while sharing knowledge with the team.
Answer business questions and fulfill requests using the platform and proactively identify and resolve data-related challenges to ensure uninterrupted access to high-quality customer data.

The Person

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
Proven track record as a Senior Data Engineer, specializing in Customer Data Platforms. Exposure to Treasure data platform is preferred
In-depth expertise in data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Extensive hands-on experience with leading CDP platforms (e.g., Salesforce CDP, Adobe Experience Platform, Segment, Tealium).
Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to excel within a collaborative team environment.
