Job description

General Overview:

The Bidding & Feasibility Associate will serve as the initial point of contact for the Sales Department's overflow support, specifically in the area of bidding. This role entails ownership of bidding responsibilities for select accounts as assigned by the VP of Solutions Provider. The specialist will regularly follow up with clients regarding bid statuses and gather insights into the outcomes of bids, whether successful or not. Additionally, this role involves overseeing projects in the field to ensure delivery commitments are met, mediating between SHG Project Management and clients to resolve any issues and ensure positive outcomes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with timely and high-quality feasibility and pricing for quantitative and qualitative healthcare market research studies. 
  • Formulate bids based on the approved rate card and a broader overarching strategy tailored to each client. 
  • Notify the Full-Service Team of new projects and facilitate a clear handover to the Project Management team, ensuring a smooth introduction to the client and successful execution of the proposed project.
  • Maintain oversight through the fielding process, ensuring clear communication between SHG Project Management and clients to resolve issues and offer solutions to challenges as they arise.
  • Follow up with clients regarding bid statuses and gather feedback on bid outcomes.
  • Act as an overflow resource for the SHG Sales team when needed. 
  • Miscellaneous tasks as evident or required associated with the success of the sales department. 

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of market research data collection methodologies
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • 1-3 years customer service and sales experience
  • Ability to work US EST hours [9:30 AM EST - 6:30 PM EST / 7 PM IST - 4 AM IST]
  • Positive, “Can Do” Attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent attention to detail / detail-oriented position
  • Ability to make educated judgment calls
