Are you ready to drive innovation in the automotive industry with a global leader? Join FORD and it's dynamic team as a FullStack Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of automotive technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing new features utilizing technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, TypeScript, CI/CD, GCP, APIs, and TDD.
  • Adhering to Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration with Product Managers, Product Owners, and UI/UX designers throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conducting technical design, coding with test automation, and providing support and documentation for software modifications.
  • Ensuring code quality through rigorous standards, continuous integration, development, and testing practices.
  • Leading the engineering and development efforts within product teams to deliver complex solutions for Connected Consumer and Vehicle Features.
  • Championing software craftsmanship principles and sharing successful implementations.
  • Creating tools and processes for automated feature delivery and waste elimination.
  • Performing installations and customizations within GCP using open-source CMS technologies like Strapi, Payload CMS, ApostropheCMS, and/or Directus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of Java / Spring Boot experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of Angular/React experience
  • Minimum 4+ years of database experience
  • Experience with key development and deployment tools (ex. GitHub, Jenkins)
  • Experience developing with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, etc.
  • Experience with varying databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, PostreSQL)
