Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,950.00 per year

We are proud to be partnered with our client who are currently recruiting for x2 Regional Account Managers. This role requires frequent travel to clients and overnight stays within your specific region therefore a Full UK Driving Licence is essential to be considered for this role. Candidates must also have previous field-based sales experience with the ability and knowledge of selling technical products.

One Regional Account Manager will be assigned to their North accounts, covering North East, North West, Yorkshire & Humber and the other Regional Account Manager will be assigned to their Midlands & South accounts, covering West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England and South West. This is a Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 35 hours per week role on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our client is a leading qualification provider and awarding organisation. They develop and accredit particular qualifications to training providers, colleges etc. The successful candidates will be responsible for selling the technical products to these organisations. There is the opportunity to earn great money in this role, basic salary is £35,950 per annum + £7,050 travel compensation payment + £3,960 car allowance and the potential for up to £10,000 per year in performance related bonuses.

Regional Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining and growing the provision
  • Ensuring opportunities are maximised
  • Presenting qualifications at a variety of internal and external events
  • Gaining new business from new and existing clients
  • Visiting education providers
  • Taking forward new business initiatives
  • A focus on relationship management
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer service
  • Supporting clients to facilitate further growth
  • Establish and maintain meaningful communication with your assigned accounts
  • Travel is an essential part of the role

Required Personal Qualities of a Regional Account Manager:

  • Excellent team player
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable sales experience
  • Ambitious, goal-orientated and target driven

Requirements of this Regional Account Manager role:

  • Happy with frequent travel to clients (2-3 days per week)
  • Happy with overnight stays
  • Happy with occasional remote and in-office working
  • Previous field-based sales experience (minimum 2 years)
  • A track record of success in sales roles
