Job description

About Stellic

Stellic is a unified SaaS platform designed to empower all students on their way to degree completion and career success. Originally built by students to more effectively plan ahead, today we’re proud to serve all segments of higher education at institutions like UChicago, Ohio State, Johnson County Community College, Cornell College, and University of Oklahoma, and many more.

A bit about our philosophy: we’ve put student experience at the heart of our platform to address some of higher ed’s biggest current challenges. In fact, 40% of students who enter college will get lost while navigating their degree requirements and ultimately drop out — costing $200B to institutions annually. A big cause is that most of higher education has been using antiquated and disparate tools to manage student progress, and that’s led to low student engagement, overwhelmed advisors, wasted resources. Stellic gives students a beautiful, user-friendly experience to plan ahead and manage their progress, helping them make informed decisions and take ownership. That data is then put to good use. Advisors and administrators have access to student planning and progress data like never before, helping to scale support and allocate resources based on what the students need. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!

With millions of students in higher ed, Stellic’s work is far from finished. By joining our team, you’ll help step closer to our mission of empowering all students to have the best-possible experiences and outcomes.

The Role

This is an opportunity to work closely with multiple small and medium scale enterprise partners to lead the implementation of a unified and student-centric degree management platform. As a Project Manager of Campus Implementations, you will manage and lead projects which involve multiple teams at Stellic, including engineering, integration, and product. You will be part of the larger Partner Success team, which is entirely focused on delivering value for our college and university partners.

As a Project Manager of Campus Implementations, you will work on the following:

  1. Enterprise Implementations: You will entirely lead the implementation process, from installation to validation, for an average of 6 simultaneous projects, on-budget while achieving our internal “success criteria.”
  2. Partner Experience: You will give our partners an amazing onboarding experience, leading to a high NPS.
  3. Relationship Management: You will be an effective point of contact for partners, gaining their trust and giving them a positive experience in working with you.
  4. Trainer: Receive a high NPS and a high adoption from training on our product across diverse roles (advisors, registrar).
  5. Cross-org: Partner with Sales, Integration, Product, and Marketing to unblock their projects, providing them with contextual timelines, project plans, product accelerants, adoption communications, etc.

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have the following skills and experiences:

  • Enterprise Project Management: You have experience delivering projects successfully, exceeding their objectives within the constraints of time, budget, scope. You are able to manage 5-figure ARR, multi-step, multi-stakeholder, semester long projects on your own. You have experience with project management tools like Notion, Asana and Google Apps.  Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Implement Complex, Modular Product - You have experience working on the implementation of large and complex enterprise SaaS products.
  • Focus on Impact: You keep impact at the heart of each decision/action. You are extremely goal-oriented and know how to move the needle toward impact for students and stakeholders
  • Operationally Excellent: You have experience simultaneous working on the implementations of 6 complex enterprise projects.
  • Customer Empathy: You have deep empathy for stakeholders and you are motivated to make them achieve their goals.
  • Grit: You get shit done with a “no matter what it takes” attitude.
  • Efficient: You think scrappy about resources like time and budget, and produce unbelievable returns given those constraints.
  • Problem Solving: You are able to be proactive and identify and work with others to mitigate/neutralize risks - both internally and externally.
  • Relationship Skills: You can successfully build relationships with different stakeholders, even those not on board with the project. You can understand the politics going behind the scenes in a large institution.
  • Communication Skills: You are an excellent written and verbal communicator and you never leave a meeting without making sure everyone is on the same page.
  • Data analysis: You can provide technical support and troubleshoot independently. You are  comfortable with csv and excel spreadsheets.
  • Training: You can train diverse stakeholders on a complex product.
  • Documentation & Reporting: You can write succinct notes and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Player: You can have effective conversations with the sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Culture-fit: You are a natural fit for Stellic Values: My Heart is in the Work.
  • Passionate about this role!

Salary: $60,000-130,000 base salary, plus equity
