We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our company on a full-time basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and technical analysis of the customer’s networks.
• Work directly with CDI and customer technical staff to gather technical requirements needed to design and implement LAN WAN communication.
• Provides operational design, technical support, upgrades, and optimization of various network communications and systems.
• Provide knowledge transfer to the customer.
• Performs customer support activities for data communications equipment and networking system products.
• Updates the Practice Manager on scheduling and project status.
• Engages in continuous learning to stay abreast of new and emerging technologies. This includes obtaining vendor-related certifications (Associate/Professional level certification preferred – CCNP, CCDP, or similar), to enhance professional development and our corporate standing with our vendors.
Basic Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 3-5 years of experience is required in the following areas:
• Basic understanding and experience with Linux OS and fundamentals
• Basic understanding and experience working with scripting languages (Python) and APIs
• TCP / IP networking and Ethernet technologies.
• Experience with LAN / WAN topologies including MPLS and DMVPN
• Experience with Cisco Wireless LAN controllers
• Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, Meraki, and ASR/ISR routers
• Experience with routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
• Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to document work.
• Proficient skills in Visio and Microsoft Office
• Cisco Security experience preferred including Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Experience with Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• CCNA certification required
Desired Skills:
• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.
• CCNP certification preferred or equivalent level of experience.
• Fire Jumper certification preferred.
