Job description

WTW is looking for a leader with personal lines insurance analytics experience in the North American market to join as a Property & Casualty (P&C) Director in our Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) practice. You will have experience in leading analytics/actuarial teams within insurance carriers and will be excited about helping insurers reach their full potential. In this role you will collaborate with our team of pricing, claims, distribution, product management, underwriting and claims experts to sell and deliver consulting and technology solutions to our personal lines insurance clients.  **

The Role**

ICT provides a powerful combination of advisory services for insurance companies, integrated with leading-edge technology solutions and software, all underpinned by unparalleled analytical capability. In our personal lines practice, we work with insurers to help build, enable and embed advanced analytics throughout organizations, in order to transform performance for the business and for customers.

WTW has ambitious growth plans for our North America personal lines ICT practice. Our goal is to substantially increase our footprint in advising personal lines insurance clients as they seek to increase their analytical capabilities in pricing and underwriting, as well as across the broader organization. Our combination of market expertise and market-leading analytical software (in particular Radar) uniquely positions us to deliver meaningful impact for our clients.

This position can be based in a major North American market and is open to remote/virtual work.

Note that visa employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity. **

The Responsibilities**

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with senior insurance carrier leaders through effective communication and subject matter expertise
  • Identify and pursue potential client engagements, including showcasing WTW’s strengths, establishing client needs, relationship building and crafting scope of work.
  • Discuss and demonstrate applications of WTW’s technology products to clients
  • Lead, build, and participate in teams to deliver client projects
  • Execute work on client projects such as best practice reviews and roadmaps, predictive modeling, enhancing decision making and portfolio management, and implementation of externalized rating and underwriting.
  • Leverage expertise in strategic aspects of pricing and analytics, as well as market knowledge, to serve as a subject matter expert
  • Contribute to the development of WTW’s intellectual capital and future proposition development, including go-to-market strategy
  • Meet billable hour target and sales goals, operating as a highly respected and effective consultant
  • Mentor, lead, manage and develop more junior members of the team, potentially including both project engagements and direct reports
