Job Summary: 

 

The Marketplace Integration & Technology Group (MITG) Funnel Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the project leadership team for a strategic IT organization transformation project at the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS). As a crucial member of the Portfolio Management team, this individual will facilitate the smooth operation of meetings, manage actionable items, and ensure the timely progress of project activities, all while staying closely aligned with the overarching strategy. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

The MITG Funnel Manager ensures efficient workflow and communication, shaping the backbone of our success. Your role emphasizes organizational precision and proactive support for our leadership team. Your efforts are central to the smooth running and strategic alignment of project activities. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Develop meeting agendas, take thorough notes, and document progress towards completing action items. 
  • Schedule meetings, confirm attendance of participants, and track the readiness of meetings. 
  • Provide managerial support by prioritizing risks and priorities needing leadership attention. 
  • Coordinate cross-team outreach to stakeholders in collaboration with project teams. 
  • Draft professional emails for leadership, designated to teams and executive clients. 
  • Remain consistently informed about the overall project strategy, reflecting this understanding in all tasks performed. 


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a business analyst role. 
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities. 
  • Proficient project management skills, notably in GMC. 
  • Demonstrated experience with requirements management tools 
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to tasks, coupled with an ability to work independently. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field. 
  • Eligibility to obtain security clearance is mandatory. 

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with CMS or similar healthcare-related government entities. 
  • Previous experience with JIRA and Confluence is highly desired. 
  • An enthusiastic, balanced, and resilient disposition is favored. 
  • Willingness to commit to the program full-time for a duration of 24 months. 
  • An energetic, upbeat and even-keeled attitude is desirable. 
  • Professional demeanor suitable for interacting with senior executive clients. 

 

Minimum Education: 

  • BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.  

Required Certifications: 

  • Project management or Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) are preferred but not mandatory.
