Location: (remote for now) Title: Lead Salesforce Developer Number of positions: 1 Start: ASAP Length: 6 mos+
The Technical Lead Salesforce Developer designs and implements the key technical components of the solution and helps direct technical resources to develop and deliver the project. The Technical Lead reduces the overall project technical risk by uncovering design issues early in the project life-cycle, shares implementation best practices, and recommends solution alternatives. Additionally, the Technical Lead partners with the Technical Architect to conduct design reviews during major project milestones. This is a hands-on role that requires technical experience and abilities with Salesforce.com and related cloud technologies Job Responsibilities
Provide expert advice on the Salesforce platform
Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives.
Manage daily support and maintenance of our Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
Communicate with product owners and agile delivery team to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully
Interact directly with product owners and agile delivery team to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interactions with internal Salesforce instances
Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
Collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, product development and operations, to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance
Act as a leader and mentor junior Salesforce developers
Required:
Salesforce Administrator Certification
Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
Must have strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience working as a technical lead on an Agile delivery team
Minimum of 2+ years of practical implementation experience developing complex application in Java or related technology and
Minimum of 3+ years of Salesforce application development.
Strong understanding of design principles, technically scalable data modeling, and Force.com development best practices.
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via real time and batch process (sync/async)
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON)
Experience in designing test strategies to ensure adequate quality (e.g., code coverage; application behaviors; scalability environment independence) across Apex classes, triggers and controllers.
User Interface experience using Salesforce Visual Force, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Lightning
Knowledge of automated deployment / DevOps tools and technologies
Knowledge of source control management tools such as Git
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Preferred:
Salesforce Application or System Architect Certification
Experience developing integrations with Mulesoft
Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
Experience in using testing automation tools like Selenium
Amazon Connect
