JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE - Responsible for the overall Epic technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem. Designs, describes, and manages the solution. Builds the bridge between a business problem and the Epic solution and outlines each of the phases and requirements needed to make that solution work. Develops Epic roadmaps and ensures alignment with business needs, service-levels and availability requirements. Participates in incident, request, problem, configuration and change management according to ITIL standards and established service level agreements (SLA). Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex system architecture issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION - Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Design and Operations function manages the operations of our existing services and implements new technology into the organization on behalf of our business customers. Our team includes the 24/7 service desk, application operations and implementation teams.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent work experience required. - Ten (10) years relevant Epic analyst experience with at least two (2) years of experience leading projects and resources required. - One (1) Epic certification/proficiency required. Obtaining additional proficiencies or certifications related to assigned modules may be required based on department’s operational needs and at manager discretion. - Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. - Experience in project management preferred, including development and management of detailed project plans, objectives, control methods, coordination of project team efforts, resource allocation and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
