About This Role
As a Data Scientist with EverBright’s monitoring and VPP team, you will help to evaluate and improve upon our solar production estimation, ensure data quality in our monitoring platform, and develop algorithms to predict future battery capacity to optimize VPP dispatch.

In addition to technical expertise, you should have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively interface and problem solve with technical and non-technical teammembers. You should be comfortable working in an agile development environment and have experience with agile methodologies.

What You'll Do
  • Develop machine learning, optimization and other modeling solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
  • Work with a variety of datasets, including timeseries data and “big data” requiring analysis on distributed computing platforms
  • Write software in Python, R or similar languages and contributes code to product development teams
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
