Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Network and System Administrator to join our team. As a Network and System Administrator at TMTNSBRO, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure and systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our technology services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement necessary upgrades or configurations.
  • Administer and maintain server systems, including Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system stability and security.
  • Perform system updates, patches, and backups to safeguard data and maintain system integrity.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect network and data assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology-related projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Document network and system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance network and system efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in network and system administration roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security practices, and hardware devices.
  • Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support, as needed.
