You will support Belron during an exciting period of change, and bring your ideas and experience to help build the new Global Internal Controls Centre of Excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define and evolve the controls standards and frameworks, cascading these across the Group

  • Work with our co-source partners on controls design, test and build activities into future state processes and technologies

  • Represent the internal controls agenda in various programme and governance forums with senior stakeholders

  • Work across functions to identify unmitigated risks and issues, and problem solve appropriately

  • Design and build periodic and ad hoc progress reporting including escalation of risks, issues and decisions needed by stakeholders

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across countries and functions (e.g. Finance Directors, Country General Managers, Regional Finance Directors etc.)

  • Continuous controls improvement across the Group through optimisation activities such as better use of technology to increase controls automation

  • Work with countries to ensure they comply with Belron’s global controls standards and frameworks, providing support to address any deficiencies

  • Support in the preparation, review and issuance of reports for the Group Executive Committee, Audit Committee and other relevant forums

  • Develop and execute controls monitoring and testing

  • Coach, guide and educate senior business stakeholders (and their teams) to ensure they understand controls expectations, understand their responsibilities and apply the necessary frameworks.

  • Drive delivery of controls activities on time and within agreed budgets

  • Other ad hoc activities e.g. conducting controls training, producing and reviewing controls deliverables (e.g. RCM / RACMs), supporting ITGCs / IGTCs, implementation and launch of GRC tooling etc.

PART B: THE PERSON
