Process Analyst

The world is becoming more digital every day, interactions are becoming faster, and paper-based and manual processes are becoming a thing of the past. The financial world is generally a leader in having structured systems to process trades, but an opportunity still exists to optimize, digitize and automate many of the less mainstream processes. These are processes that involve multiple systems, are document-heavy, or rely on older or customized applications. This is where the team fits in.

We are seeking a business analyst/process analyst to improve and enhance the business through process optimization, digitization, and automation. The Candidate will work within the Process Innovation & Automation team within Platform Enablement (IT department).

This is a middle-level position. We are seeking someone with a degree of relevant experience looking to take the next step in their career. The position is offered externally and there may be scope to internalize in the future.

Main Task:

• Performing deep problem analysis to uncover true business needs;
• Analyzing and implementing solutions to business problems;
• Translating business requests into technical solutions through process mapping & design;
• Involvement in and responsibility for all aspects of the development and change process;
• Managing relationships with business stakeholders and developers.

The Candidate will be involved in a range of projects including the design and implementation of processes to facilitate onboarding and client-related events for retail clients. These are US and London-based projects for which the team plays an integral role in optimizing and digitizing processes to make improve efficiency and create scalable solutions.

The Position is based in The Hague, The Netherlands. Flexible working exists. The expectation is to work 2 days per week in the office.

You and your Talent:

• College / University educated;
• Previous experience with business and/or process analysis (2 5 years);
• Familiarity with business process modeling concepts such as BPMN and database design;
• High-level familiarity with technical concepts, such as APIs and IT architecture principles;
• Experience with ServiceNow (preferable);
• Experience with Client servicing in a finance context (preferable);
• Experience with project management (preferable).
