We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Analytics to join our growing engineering team. The Senior Software Engineer should be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision and should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development. The individual in this position will specialize in Web/Product Analytics and will lead our business in GA4 (Google Analytics 4) implementation.
This role will be part of the greater engineering department at PPLSI (aka LegalShield), which is the cornerstone of all technology and product focused developments for the company. We are a diverse and skillful team encompassing software engineering, data engineering, quality assurance (QA), and technical program management for the company. We partner closely with peers across product management, design, IT, and business stakeholders. Together we work to create, preserve, and improve well-functioning, well-designed, multi-platform systems and products for both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies including planning, refinement, standups
- Work closely with product/program management, engineering leadership, QA, and design to help bring the best product experience to production
- Research, design and implement technical specifications for GA4 projects based on user requirements as indicated in scope of work, wireframes and/or sitemap documents
- Ensure GA4 projects are built to meet performance, security, and functional requirements
- Implement new features and functionality for Analytics as needed
- Mentor team members on Analytics
Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional software development experience
- Experience with successful GA4 (Google Analytics 4) implementations
- Coding proficiency in JavaScript and HTML
- Knowledgeable of best practices with React state management
- Familiar with Agile concepts
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter with high level of initiative
- Ability to pay high attention to detail, troubleshoot, and analyze
- Commitment to department and company goals
