THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team of Virtual Assistants specializing in Logistics & Supply Chain Management. This role will provide essential support to our logistics operations, handling various tasks crucial to the efficient functioning of the company you’ll be working with. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the logistics industry and gain valuable experience.

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:

  • Assist in coordinating logistics activities, including but not limited to scheduling shipments, arranging transportation, and managing documentation.
  • Provide support in supply chain management tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and vendor communication.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers and maintaining accurate shipping records.
  • Assist in managing import processes, including customs clearance, documentation preparation, and liaising with international suppliers.
  • Support day-to-day logistics operations, including warehouse management, tracking shipments, and resolving logistics-related issues.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach their destinations on time, and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in dispatching orders to drivers or carriers, ensuring efficient route planning and timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant data using our internal systems or software.
  • Provide assistance to customers regarding their orders, delivery status, and any inquiries related to logistics.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.

Our projects could include only some of the functions listed, as well as additional ones not listed here.

Requirements

  • C1/C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in logistics or supply chain, preferably remote.
  • Graduated (or soon to graduate) with a college degree.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm in US time zones.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional telephone manner & service-orientated email writing skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use new tools and software.
  • A quiet home office with a desk and office chair.
  • Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed.
  • A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone.
  • Access to a backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, etc.)

  • Our pay rate: is $4/hr (approx $640-740/month).
  • Pay rate increases by US$1/hr with each anniversary working with the same Client.

OUR TRIAL

Our hiring process includes assessing your skills in all of these areas during a paid training and evaluation period so that we can place you on the client work placement that best matches your skills. After this paid trial you would be matched with one of our US-based clients in a full-time work placement that most closely matches your experience, education, and performance in Trial activities (the placement process will be fully explained if you are selected for an interview).

We would like to inform you that during the first four months of employment, it is critical that candidates are available to work from the countries listed above and without any travel commitments  This is to ensure a smooth onboarding process and to allow new hires to fully focus on their roles and responsibilities.
