We obsess over the developer experience and talk directly to the engineers at our customers to inform the products we build. We’re searching for people who share this empathetic approach to solving problems.
Successful candidates will love staying up-to-date on the latest in server rendering, data fetching, new approaches to routing, component architecture patterns, DOM and CSS updates and also feel comfortable dipping into the logic and API layer.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and document reusable component patterns that allow other engineers to ship their features with good UXDesign and implement complex routing and data fetching systems at scaleArticulate trade-offs of changes to complex systems and provide insight on technical decision-making across the companyOwn and organize multi-person projects, delegate work, and drive projects forward while bringing others with youHelp set the tone and raise the bar for UI qualitySpeak with customers regularly to get feedback on new product developmentHelp recruit and assess future engineering team membersHelp represent the team publicly through blog posts, public docs, public design system resourcesHelp contribute to new Radix components and maintenanceQualifications 🌟7+ years of industry software development experience with interactive appsHas built, shipped, and supported a feature-rich dashboard or appExperience owning projects and driving work based on customer impactA keen sense of balancing pragmatism and qualityUnderstanding common a11y patterns, ability to implement and educate othersHigh level of design/UX tasteExpert-level skill in React, CSS, TypeScriptFamiliarity with backend fundamentals and database conceptsExperience building and shipping web applications end-to-endIntellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about great productsOur stack is TypeScript, React, and Postgres (bonus points if you are familiar with these, but it's not required)Bonus: Experienced in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or a related industryThe annual US base salary falls within the range of $150,000 to $250,000. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. Final compensation will be determined considering various factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
