JOB SUMMARY
NVA is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Compensation Business Partner to join our growing team.
The Compensation Business Partner is a key contributor to NVA’s continued ability to attract, reward, and retain top talent. This role will be responsible for key day-today processes related to our compensation programs and will be a major contributor to compensation projects, from design through execution, including modeling, project planning, communicating, training and administration.
The Compensation Business Partner helps create and implement company-wide compensation programs including base pay and incentive compensation. Consults with TR/HR peers and business leaders to assess, design, influence and execute our compensation program. Takes ownership for maintaining and applying market data to meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Provides counsel and support on the design and implementation of compensation projects, programs, policies, practices, and procedures.
• Provide effective support and service to our internal HR community; respond to inquiries regarding compensation related questions and provide guidance to help resolve issues.
• Assist with designing and implementing new pay structures, salary grades, and guidelines.
• Ensure that compensation programs are aligned with the organization's overall strategy, market competitiveness, and legal requirements as well as all internal NVA governance processes.
• Administers Annual Compensation Process and Incentive Compensation programs.
• Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
• Advises managers on making effective pay decisions that support employee engagement and comply with compensation policy and budgetary guidelines.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• 5+ years of experience in Compensation Analysis and Consulting
• Strong business acumen, problem solving skills, mathematical/analytical and technical skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HRIS systems
• Ability to work Independently/with little supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR, management, and employees at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage complex data sets and calculations
