Overview:

The ABAP RAP Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and customizing ABAP-based applications, leveraging Rapid Application Prototyping (RAP) to deliver efficient solutions within SAP environments. This role is essential in ensuring seamless integration and smooth functioning of various SAP modules through technical expertise and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions using ABAP and RAP.
Should have experience in BTP
Design, develop, and customize ABAP applications to meet specific business needs.
Implement and maintain Rapid Application Prototyping (RAP) solutions within SAP environments.
Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of developed applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP solutions and RAP prototypes.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ABAP applications with various SAP modules.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system stability.
Participate in system upgrades and enhancement projects, ensuring compatibility and optimization.
Provide support and guidance to junior developers in ABAP development and RAP implementation.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry best practices to enhance technical capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in ABAP development within SAP environments.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing Rapid Application Prototyping (RAP) solutions.
Deep understanding of SAP modules and their integration with ABAP applications.
Strong proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.
Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of ABAP applications.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Certifications in SAP ABAP or related technologies would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in software development is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
