The Account Exectuive will maintain sales activities through developing and maintaining contacts with distribution channel representatives. They will coordinate and monitor distribution channel activities, setting up and assisting them in meeting performance standards and profit goals and providing guidance on marketing Company products.WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: - Estimated Salary: $49,500 - $69,500 plus sales plan. - Remote opportunity with very limited travel (approximately once per year). - Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. - Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year. - Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion. - Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Generate profitable premium income through developing and maintaining contacts with distribution channel representatives through proactive outbound phone. Explain and discuss products, benefits, services, rate structure, reporting advantages, and operations. - Maintain ongoing contact and relationship development efforts with clients by coordinating inquiries related to sales, products and procedures. Assist in preparing presentations, proposals and marketing materials for prospect meetings. Assist in event planning and coordination of promotional activities and mailings. Prepare and maintain account and/or contract documentation. - Coordinate and monitor distribution channel activities setting up and assisting them in meeting performance standards and profit goals, and providing guidance on marketing Company products. - Provide service and support for distribution channels as directed, developing presentations and training for prospects and distribution representatives, responding to questions pertaining to product or processes, providing appropriate offers, and negotiating changes. - Function as a consultant to distribution channel representatives regarding their insurance coverage needs and assist in designing their insurance programs for clients. - Develop and maintain current knowledge of Mutual of Omaha's and United of Omaha's products, policies and services.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING: - Experience and/or strong ability in the sales of health, life, and/or other insurance, and familiarity with various distribution channels. - Initiative, negotiation and organizational abilities, as well as excellent human relations and oral and written communication skills - Two years of experience in sales or servicing within the financial industry preferred. - You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do. - Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
