Job description

Overview:

As a Senior Functional Client Consultant, a candidate should have expertise in implementing Financial Modules of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications software and R12 EBS. Work directly with clients to provide needs assessment, set-up, implementation, training, and consultation services. The role requires the expertise and skills to be part of implementation projects, requirement gathering, client interactions, solution design, authoring technical documentation, and performing cut-over activities through to Go-Live. 

 

Together With:

  • Should be part of the discovery, design, and delivery phases of medium to large implementation projects.
  • Interact with the client representatives and facilitate technical discussions to review the AS-IS business processes and propose TO-BE solutions from a finance functional standpoint.
  • Should be able to conduct CRP’s to demonstrate the product functionality with respect to functional requirements.
  • Work with clients to gather business requirements and translate those needs into software solutions. 
  • Assist in the design, demonstration, development, testing, and implementation of Oracle Financial modules according to the business requirements.
  • Write business requirement documents and other functional-related documentation; Identify functional gaps and provide corrective actions.
  • Define specifications and data models for product development and testing. 
  • Translation of business requirements into technical design and specification.
  • Assess available solutions and recommend solutions to the consulting team, Support and Develop Enterprise Solutions

 In combination with:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and lead clients throughout the implementation and support phases.
  • Provide ERP functional consulting & Training for client teams and develop user guides and training materials.
  • Support, Direct, and Configure Oracle Fusion software solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Oracle ERP team on cross-functional solutions.
  • Use development specifications to prepare test plans and scripts and perform unit, integration, and regression testing. 
  • Keep the project manager and project team informed on individual deliverables.
  • Manage your track/workstream independently, interact with clients, conduct requirements and training sessions, etc.
  • Fully configure the Oracle Cloud modules in the financial tracking/workstream

You are the best candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (computer science and/or relevant area) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of Functional experience in Oracle Cloud Financials Modules with a minimum of two (2) end-to-end Oracle Cloud implementations. Knowledge of EBS Finance Modules is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, FAH, Intercompany, Expenses Management
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Structure, COA, Structure, and Hierarchies, Flex fields, extensions set up in Fusion Financials
  • Experience in various financial data upload/migration techniques (FBDI & ADFDi) and related issue resolutions,
  • Exposure to Reporting tools (Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), SmartView, OTBI)
  • Experience in supporting Period closure activities,
  • Knowledge of tax (Withholding and Transaction tax) setups
  • High-level Knowledge of end-to-end integrations of Financials modules with other modules like Projects/Procurement/SCM/HCM/EPM
  • Must have experience with integrations like AR Invoices, AP Invoices, GL Journals, Customers, and Suppliers from third-party systems.
  • High-level Knowledge of other fusion modules (SCM, PPM, or EPM) functionality is a plus.
  • Oracle Professional certification in Cloud financial modules is desirable but not mandatory.
