Overview: As a Software Engineering Manager specializing in Blockchain and AI, you will lead a team responsible for developing cutting-edge solutions in these domains. This role requires a strong background in software development coupled with expertise in blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring the successful implementation of blockchain and AI projects while fostering innovation and collaboration within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between the engineering team and stakeholders, including executives, clients, and product managers.
- Communicate project plans, progress, and outcomes, gathering requirements and addressing feedback to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations and business objectives.
- Engineering Planning:
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and timelines for blockchain and AI initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive engineering plans encompassing resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management strategies, aligning them with overall product roadmap and business strategies.
- Execution and Oversight:
- Lead the execution of blockchain and AI projects, overseeing all phases from design to deployment.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks and issues to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Implement best practices for software development, blockchain integration, and AI model deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of solutions.
- Team Coordination:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring alignment with project goals and priorities, and provide support and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional growth and development opportunities for team members.
- Technical Expertise:
- Maintain a strong understanding of blockchain technologies, including distributed ledger technology (DLT), smart contracts, and consensus algorithms.
- Stay abreast of AI technologies and methodologies, such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the engineering team, assisting with architectural decisions, problem-solving, and implementation challenges in both blockchain and AI domains.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development, with demonstrable expertise in blockchain and AI technologies.
- Proven track record of success in software engineering management or leadership roles, preferably with a focus on blockchain and AI-related projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, best practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity principles is advantageous.
