ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software / Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Software / Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend applications using Quarkus framework and managing them on AWS cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in software design, microservice architecture, data modelling, and integration with interface partners. Fluency in German is preferred for effective communication with German-speaking stakeholders and team members.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and deploy Quarkus-based backend applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead software design, microservice architecture, data modelling, and integration with interface partners.
  • Implement test automation strategies, ensure adherence to best practices, and optimize performance.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services, logging/monitoring/alerting tools, and CI/CD pipelines effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate efficiently with stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and address customer needs promptly.
