Location: Remote
Employment Logistics:
As our Manager of Small Accounts, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Managers dedicated to maintaining customer satisfaction and retaining the company’s e-commerce residential customer portfolio of small accounts. This role will report to the VP of Customer Success and will manage activities that develop customer relationships, support day-to-day customer needs, and retain and expand existing business. In addition to supervising the Small Account group, this role requires relationship development with senior-level customer contacts and the company’s senior leadership.

The Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2-5+ years of direct sales experience, with experience in the transportation/logistics field, preferably within the parcel/e-commerce space
- 2+ Years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Up to 20% travel depending on the business needs.
Your Mission in Motion:
- Manages the Small Accounts team and supports operations required to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and accomplish financial objectives.
- Implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations.
- Conducts long-term and short-term goal setting for teams and individuals and uses data to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.
- Monitors the industry, business environment, competitors, and customers to develop action plans for expanding and retaining the customer base.
- Uses customer feedback and insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products.
- Participates in meetings, presentations, and demos to support or close strategic or high-value sales.
- Responsible for coaching and development of the team, including ongoing training of industry trends, product knowledge, customer engagement strategies, and competitive landscape intelligence.
- Drive all-new service/product initiatives through the team with concise messaging of product knowledge supported by marketing content.
- Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with senior-level contacts within vital strategic customers.
- Work cross-functionally with internal department managers to execute best practices and communication channels to ensure the Small-Market Account team supplies customers with accurate data and practical information, resulting in high customer satisfaction and contractual compliance.
- Work closely with the VP of Customer Success and broader senior leadership and executive team to ensure strategic vision and initiatives are executed.

- Knowledge of the sales life cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Ambitious, driven, and motivated to be successful; ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially in a remote location (home office).
- Proficiency in Windows applications: Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication is essential for completing diverse tasks, encompassing the ability to effectively interface and communicate with individuals across different organizational levels, whether in person or via phone interactions.
- Possess a high level of system and product knowledge, coupled with a strong working understanding of both the customer base and operational software.
- Analytical, organizational, and planning skills, along with the capacity to meet deadlines and perform calculations involving figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
