This position requires an active Public Trust clearance.

Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is looking for a motivated Software UI QA Tester to support Department of Energy (DOE). The Software UI QA Tester will apply rigorous techniques, processes, and tools to ensure the most robust coding is implemented for the redesign and re-branding of the DOE website. Working with stakeholders from DOE division, the Software UI QA Tester will ensure all stakeholders input is taken into consideration as the system is designed and implemented. **

Compensation & Benefits:**

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Software UI QA Tester : $40.00 to $48.00 per hour/part-time. Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. **

Software UI QA Tester Responsibilities Include:**

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Defines, implements, and executes manual and automated tests for web software components.
• Design, develops test cases and execute automation test scripts using Alias Test framework along with Gherkin language.
• Performs integration, regression, and user acceptance tests.
• Thoroughly documents and manages bugs using Bug reporting tool.
• Works effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Good communication (Oral & Written) skills.
• Perform 508 compliance tests on the website.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Software UI QA Tester Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a software QA tester and 3+ years of recent automation testing framework experience.
• Experience testing/developing web-based applications.
• 2+ years of experience with Alias Test framework, Selenium Web Driver, Junit, Cucumber and Gherkin language.
• 2+ years of experience writing test scripts.
• Experience testing with mobile responsiveness of a web applications and browser compatibility testing.
• Experience with performance and page load testing is a plus.
• Excellent critical thinking and communications skills both oral and written.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen.
• Focus and independent drive to complete tasks.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently/with minimal direction.
• Demonstrated ability to work with Section 508 compliance.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
