Job description

JOB SCOPE

  • Provide technical support for site infrastructure, including both computer and phone assistance to USA facilities during US office hours (8pm to 5am in Vietnam).
  • Primarily focus on PC technical support via electronic ticketing and phone calls, also assist with basic network and department tasks.
  • Report directly to the IT Sites Infrastructure Manager.
  • Responsible for providing PC and basic network connectivity technical support and repair as necessary.
  • Utilize and manage a ticket system (Summit's own ServiceNow help system) for issue tracking and resolution.
  • Remotely access PCs to assist users with technical issues.
  • Offer software and account technical support and perform repairs when required.
  • Assist in maintaining corporate hardware and software inventory using SCCM.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of software licenses and media inventory.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three years of experience in a medium/large corporation, with expertise in Windows 10, TEAMS, Active Directory, PC imaging/troubleshooting, Service Desk ticketing system, and basic networking.
  • Proficiency in gathering and analyzing information to make decisions with limited choices.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact effectively with end-users.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work during USA normal office hours, from 8pm to 5am in Vietnam.
  • If required, achieve a minimum score of 20 on the Wonderlic Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test.
