Ford’s Research and Advanced Engineering team takes new ideas from theory to reality. The candidate should anticipate an approximately 40-hour work week onsite for the duration of the internship (approximately 8-12 weeks in duration). **

Responsibilities**

This intern position will work within the Power Unit research & advanced team at Ford’s Global Research & center in Dearborn, Michigan.

The role will have an opportunity to interact with subject matter experts throughout the company. Responsibilities will also include:

  • Control algorithm, design and data analysis
  • Utilize Excel to manipulate data and write reports
  • Perform calculations and document results
  • Present data to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in electrical engineering/controls
  • Strong background in controls and signal processing
  • Familiar with Matlab/Simulink & data acquisition tools
  • 3.0 minimum overall GPA
