Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

KW Landscape Architects (KW) is seeking a progressive, experienced, mid-level landscape architect/designer to serve as a Project Coordinator. This individual must have a strong understanding of construction methodology, a good knowledge of plant materials, and a confident design sense. They are resourceful, a self-starter, a problem solver, a contributor in a collaborative design environment and embrace continuous learning opportunities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Knowledge and appreciation of landscape architectural design principles
  • Experience working from conceptual design through construction
  • Expertise in using a wide range of design tools from hand sketching to digital modeling
  • Experience with the preparation of construction documents & construction detailing
  • Ability to meet deadlines, respond to project delivery & work effectively
  • Communication skills, both visual and verbal
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Assist in the mentorship and training of landscape associates
  • Revit experience a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college
  • 2-5 years of experience working for firms that provide services similar to KW
  • Landscape Architectural Registration or actively working toward Landscape Architectural Registration
  • Can use a widening variety of software (Sketchup, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office & 365, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
  • Ability to learn and use company preferred software used for drawing, project planning, office communications etc.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
