Duration: 3 Years Contract
The ideal candidate should be able to:
- Perform senior level professional functions in application architecture, operations, monitoring, patching, security, database and system administration, system implementation, and project management.
- Actively monitor SAP systems, applications, and databases and to provide proactive intervention, to help ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Independently manage their projects: plan, organize, and gather requirements, conduct meetings, document, perform research, develop work products, recommendations, and action plans.
- Develop, implement, and improve standards, guidelines, and best practices for system security, maintaining the overall integrity of the applications and databases.
- Create and upgrade application servers, database systems and related applications, administration tools and provides ongoing instruction and training to others on their capabilities and proper usage.
- Understand server administration, protocols, ports, SSL certificate management, OS administration, scripting, CLI administration, interface architecture.
- Solve business challenges by effectively and efficiently communicating possible technical solutions.
- Expert experience and understanding of Windows servers, Linux RHEL, SUSE, SAP BTP, CIG, Integration Suite, PI, security certificates, SSO, and application operational and interface architecture.
Deliverables:
- Work with the in-house BASIS Team in performing daily system maintenance, system monitoring, and administration.
- Proactively complete assignments that come in via the ServiceNow platform
- Assist BASIS team on project implementation, documentation, developing best practices, standards, and process improvements.
- Provide expertise and knowledge transfer to the team for migration to S/4 HANA, cloud architecture, Disaster Recovery architecture and documentation, Signavio and BTP administration and use.
- Complete security requests, SAP support pack implementation, security patches for SAP, server OS and other applications as needed.
- Comply with client’s policies and procedures.
- Assist with resolving incident and request tickets.
- Provide excellent communication and documentation to team and management.
- Provide excellent customer service to the employees.
