Job description

Your missions

This is a remote position.

Looking for a seasoned AWS Cloud Engineer for implementation of a lift-and-shift migration plan of 3 enterprise products.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with AWS services and solutions like EC2, S3, RDS/PostgreSQL, DMS, Terraform, IAM, Monitoring, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives.
Implementing and configuring AWS services according to the migration plan.
Executing the lift-and-shift migration of applications, data, and workloads to the AWS cloud.
Automating processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of human error.
Ensuring that the cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implementing security measures, such as identity and access management, firewalls, and encryption.
Monitoring cloud resources and applications to ensure optimal performance.
Analyzing performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues.
Continuously optimizing resources for cost, performance, and scalability.
Define test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria based on the migration requirements.
Collaborate with the IT and operations teams to set up and configure the test environments on AWS.
Ensure that the test environment mirrors the production environment as closely as possible.
Execute test cases and scenarios according to the defined test plan.
Perform functional testing to ensure that all components of the products work as expected in the AWS environment.
Collaborate with the integration and testing team to conduct integration testing of products with AWS-native services.
Verify that data flows seamlessly between different components and services.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing with clients.
