Position OverviewWe are looking for a student or recent graduate focused on data analytics, geography, or computer science to add to our Quality Control Team.
What you will do and achieve - Editing Shapefiles in ArcGIS Pro to ensure the polygons are clear representations of the individual buildings - Edit polygon shapes and delete false positive polygons within shapefiles - Reviewing other’s quality control work - Learning about the field of data analytics - Assisting the LIDAR Factory Team on building out and creating the Nationwide dataset of buildings
This is a non-exempt internship paying $17 to $19 per hour with an expected work week of 20 hours a week for a 4 month internship.
Who you areEducation - Bachelor’s Degree in progress - Preferred education in Geography, GIS, or, Data Analytics.
Experience - 0+ years of data analytics (educational or professional)
Key Knowledge & Skills - Preferred Knowledge: Geographic Information Systems - ArcGIS Pro - QGIS - SQL - Python
