Position: Data Validation engineer

Experience:-4-6 years

Location:- Remote

Notice period – Immediate Joiner

Must have skills:

Work experience of Software Quality Assurance performing UI, Functional, and/or Regression testing of packaged and/or custom developed applications preferably in data engineering domain.
Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman/JMeter etc.
Experience with testing business applications running on web and client server platforms.
Knowledge of testing AI models.
Working experience with data processing tools like Databricks, Spark, Hadoop etc.
Knowledge of SolMan, Zephyr Scale or equivalent Test Management tool.
Experience of automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cucumber etc.
Exposure to any public cloud system (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc.)
Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of project management tools like Jira, Confluence etc.

SECONDARY SKILLS: (GOOD TO HAVE)

Working knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle and the role of a QA engineer.
Understanding of programming languages, client-server architecture and relational databases.
Background in the US Healthcare industry and knowledge of Dicom, HL7 standards.
Exposure to performance and security testing.
Experience with setting up test environments.

Qualifications :

Work as part of a data engineering team to evaluate and test software applications developed by the Digital teams.
Verify integrity and quality of data in the data lake using manual and automated testing techniques.
Test various aspects of AI models like accuracy, precision, recall etc.
Apply test methodology, as well as business process and application knowledge, in the design of tests and testing strategies.
Based on business and functional requirements, identify testing scenarios, and develop test cases in SQA test management tool to include test objective, pre-requisites, test steps, and expected results.
Provide special focus on security and performance aspects of the modules being tested.
Document actual test results and defects in SQA test management tool.
Assist in evaluating SQA metrics such as requirements coverage, test case readiness, test execution progress, and defect counts and statistics in SQA test management tool.
Participate in product design reviews and influence the requirements definition and software design to maximize testability.
Automate test cases progressively to reduce manual testing efforts.
