Job description

Role: Application Security Engineer
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Remote – EST timezone

Candidate must have 8 years of US experience.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Application Security, SAML, SSO, OAuth, Kubernetes, PHP, Java and other related technologies.
  • Assist in development of security processes and automated tooling that prevent classes of security issues.
  • Perform security-focused code reviews.
  • Experience in developing secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience in programming languages like PHP and Java.
  • Experience in RESTful web services development.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Gitlab.
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
