LIGHTING DESIGNER (WFH)

Job Description

As a Senior Associate Lighting Consultant (WFH), you'll collaborate on challenging projects, leveraging your existing expertise in lighting design while embracing continuous learning in engineering, technology, art, and more. Responsibilities

• Work on challenging and innovative lighting design projects within a team of experts in an ultra-modern environment.

• Blend your current lighting design expertise with further learning in engineering, technology, art, science, and the physiological aspects of light.
• Incorporate training, mentorship, and personal development programs into daily operations for continuous growth.
  
• Combine design and engineering capabilities with a strong business sense to become a trusted professional for clients.
• Collaborate on future-proofing projects by integrating design, engineering, and technology for long-term impact.
• Develop lighting design solutions for various applications including façade, interior, landscape lighting, and related technology.
• Present design concepts effectively through calculations, sketches, renderings, and technical specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with clients, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• Evaluate the performance of lighting products, manage budgets, and estimate power consumption.
• Participate in international lighting design competitions and oversee project coordination and site inspections.
• Utilize software like Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, Dialux Evo/Dialux, and Computer Graphics Rendering for lighting and building 3D models.
• Engage in outreach activities, secure projects, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
• Be adaptable to nightwork or weekend commitments, inherent to lighting projects.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Architectural/Interior Design, or Lighting Design.
  

• 3-6 years of experience in lighting design and project management.

• Previous sales experience in the lighting industry is a bonus.

• Proficiency in software such as Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, 
• Dialux Evo/Dialux, and computer graphics rendering.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate design ideas 

  effectively, and work collaboratively within a team.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented.

• Willingness to embrace continuous learning and adapt to evolving priorities.
  
• Flexibility for nightworks or weekend commitments inherent in lighting projects.
• Must have an own device and internet connection.
