Job description

This is a remote position.

We are searching for a Principal Atlassian Developer with expertise in developing custom apps within Atlassian’s product ecosystem. The role involves independently navigating client environments, delivering high-quality solutions, architecting solutions based on best practices, and leading a team of consultants.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom apps and solutions for Atlassian products, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Cloud, and Confluence.
Architect solutions adhering to best practices within the Atlassian ecosystem.
Lead and collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers, designers, DevOps, and clients.
Stay current with Atlassian product updates and best practices.
Utilize Agile methodologies in project management and execution.
Consult with clients and internal teams on process improvements and delivery strategies.
Translate client needs into clear requirements and actionable project plans.
Lead, mentor, and coach both client and internal team members remotely.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in developing apps for Atlassian products (Forge, Atlassian Connect).
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, including Node.js and React.
Demonstrated experience with Atlassian product APIs.
Hands-on experience in administering or configuring Atlassian products.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, global team environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Quick learning ability for understanding and adapting to client-specific processes.
At least two Atlassian certifications.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching team members.
