As an Alliance Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships and alliances with key technology providers, solution vendors, and industry associations in the retail systems and applications space. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, driving collaborative initiatives, and ensuring the success of these alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Evaluate Partners: Identify potential strategic partners, vendors, and technology providers in the retail systems and applications sector. Evaluate their capabilities and alignment with our business goals.
Negotiate and Establish Partnerships: Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms with potential partners. Facilitate the onboarding process and ensure that partnership agreements are aligned with company objectives.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with alliance partners. Act as the primary point of contact and develop a deep understanding of their products and services.
Collaborative Initiatives: Drive collaborative initiatives, co-marketing activities, and joint projects with alliance partners to create mutually beneficial opportunities for growth.
Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, retail technologies, and emerging applications. Use market insights to identify potential partnership opportunities.
Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships and monitor progress regularly. Make necessary adjustments to ensure success.
Communication and Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding the status and impact of alliance partnerships.
Conflict Resolution: Proactively address any conflicts or issues that may arise with alliance partners and work to find amicable solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in alliance management, partnership development, or business development in the B2B technology or consultancy industry, with a focus on retail systems and applications.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
A deep understanding of the retail industry, technology trends, and relevant applications.
Results-oriented with a track record of achieving partnership and business objectives.
