At STRI, we are hiring Recruitment Interns to work with us for a period of 3 to 6 months. This internship comes with a Pre-placement opportunity, subject to good performance and completion of the internship duration.
Roles and Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing:
Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, etc.) to source and attract qualified candidates.
Conduct proactive candidate searches to build a pipeline of potential talent.
Screen resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications and match them with open positions.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop targeted candidate profiles.
Candidate Evaluation and Selection:
Conduct preliminary screening over the phone to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
Administer relevant assessments or tests to evaluate candidates' technical or job-specific abilities.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Conduct reference checks and verify employment history and credentials.
Recruitment Process Management:
Manage job postings and advertisements on various platforms.
Track and maintain candidate data and recruitment metrics for reporting purposes.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and other recruitment-related activities.
Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:
Promote the employer brand and company culture to attract top talent.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, colleges, and other talent sources.
Provide a positive and professional candidate experience by maintaining regular communication and providing feedback throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure timely and personalized communication with candidates regarding their application status.
Offer Management and Onboarding:
Coordinate job offers to selected candidates, negotiate salary and benefits, and coordinate the onboarding process.
Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Requirements
Postgraduate in HR or any specialization
0-2 years' experience
Candidates looking for internship opportunities/ Return to work mothers who are looking to start a new career learning a skill
Prior experience or knowledge of Talent acquisition is preferable
Ability to work independently remotely with minimal guidance
Proactive- to get the job done while keeping all concerned parties in the loop.
Good oral and written skills
Friendly, cool and composed personality with the ability to build relationships.
