The Director, Aligned Assurance leads the support effort of all audit, compliance, and quality support functions for all companies across the Service organization. This role will ensure that all appropriate regulatory and audit controls are being met in a timely manner along with developing recommendations and remediation strategies as regulatory needs change. This role will also maintain a quality program that supports a best in class service operation and incorporates any regulatory change into the program.

Responsibilities - Leads the development of remediation strategies across all companies for internal audit, internal controls, compliance inquiries, and regulatory findings. - Partners with Aligned Assurance leaders on monitoring enacted and adopted regulation that affects any service related line of business and works with the appropriate leaders on remediation strategies - Primary owner of the Continuous Audit Program as it relates to Service findings across all companies - Manage risk through our quality assurance area to ensure the appropriate controls are in place and being executed upon - Partners with our Penn Insurance & Annuity of New York Service leaders to ensure we have the appropriate controls in place as it relates to Regulations 60, 187, and SEC Regulation Best Interest and all other applicable regulations - Leads the business review, submission, and response of data and records to support state market conduct exams - Monitor enacted legislation and adopted regulations which impact all of Penn Mutual’s lines of business and operations and coordinate plans of action - Partners with the Compliance Department in identifying areas of risk and makes recommendations on operational improvements, processes for compliance, quality assurance and any additional training essential to mitigate risk. - Provides leadership oversight for the Unclaimed property function; which includes but is not limited to the Death Master File reconciliation process across all companies

Required Experience - 7-10 Years Financial services industry experience
Education - Bachelor's Degree In related field or equivalent work experience Required
