We are seeking a Website Analytics Specialist - specifically someone with strong Google Analytics experience. If you're excited to be a part of a winning team, we can help you grow your career. 

This is a remote position supporting a marketing agency in Chicago, Illinois USA. 
Job Duties: 
Our need is for someone to help us better understand our marketing efforts. You will help us to help us properly set-up Google Analytics/GA4 tracking, then provide managers with detailed analysis of customer behaviors. 

You'll be working with other digital media professionals to create the proper goals, audience lists and proper configuration of e-commerce/web traffic tracking. You will provide the team with an understanding of traffic flows through the site, where people drop off at, and other valuable data points that we can use to optimize marketing and website development efforts.

Specific tasks include:

- Analyzing a website's key performance metrics and competitive trending.

- Collecting and analyzing customer, marketing, and web behavioral data. 

- Testing campaigns, analyzing key metrics, and identifying opportunities to increase campaign performance. 

- Developing and presenting learnings from your analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations. 

- Developing digital campaign and web measurement strategies. 

- Creating dashboards, data visualizations, and campaign and website performance reports. 

- Monitoring and analyzing digital media and marketing trends. 

- Communicating and presenting to colleagues, managers, and clients. 

- Creating forecasts using operational and statistical tools and models.

- Directing queries and analyzing databases and logs to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.

- Making recommendations regarding process improvements and helping develop performance policies and procedures.

- The ideal candidate will also have experience in digital media management, such as Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Advertising, Facebook Ads platforms.
Must have prior experience and be skilled in Google Analytics, website tracking, e-commerce tracking, Google Tag Manager and other web analytics platforms.




Requirements
- BSc in analytics, statistical analysis, marketing or other discipline relevant to website analytics.

- Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including Tableau, Google Analytics/GA4, and Data Studio. 

- Deep knowledge of digital marketing across social, display, and programmatic platforms. 

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. 

- Ability to make data-driven decisions. 

- Comfort in collaborating with team members in account management, creative and technological disciplines. 

- A demonstrated passion for social media and digital marketing. 

- A desire to continually learn and grow as a digital marketing detail oriented. 

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment. 

- Strong communication and presentation skills. 

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. 

- Ability to prioritize tasks.

- Strong research skills.

- Updated knowledge of e-commerce technology.
