Job description

This is a remote position.

For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) Web Service Developer. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term.

Candidates need to be able to work in the normal New York office hours. Example 9AM New York time equals 18:30PM Sri Lanka time.

Tasks and deliverables:

Analyze, design, develop, as well as implement RESTful services and APIs.
Be involved in the development life cycle and perform definition and feasibility analysis
Implement, integrate, and document a variety of software platforms through the REST API framework.
Implement common APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks.

Profile:

Bachelor or University degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in a computing environment with multiple programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js etc.).
Minimum 1 year of experience with Azure Cloud portal.
Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake is required.
Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools is nice to have.
Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
