Job Summary:
Provides ZOS Network Administration experience in mainframe networking in a parallel sysplex environment and experience in Disaster Recovery. Experience in Data Center Migration, including planning of Mainframe relocation as well as planning/design of processor upgrade and identifying logical network definitions that are required to support the new processor.

Required Skills and Years of Experience:
10+ years configuring and supporting z/OS Communication Server (TCP/IP, SNA and Enterprise Extender)
Able to implement and maintain z/OS networking-related components and solutions.
Problem Determination with hardware connectivity from OSA to the routed network infrastructure, experience with Monitoring Tools, being able to take traces to provide to vendor support, familiar with Unix System Services (USS), Telnet Server, Tivoli System Automation, Netview, Connect Direct, MULTSES session manager, VPS and BARR printing.
Provide technical guidance to application development and business unit projects in areas of mainframe networking.

Preferred Skills and Years of Experience:
10+ years of ZOS mainframe networking experience, understanding communication server components (VTAM, TCP/IP and EE) Certificate Management (GSKKYMAN & AT-TLS/PAGENT), TN3270, & z/OSMF with a minimum experience of configuring/customizing software, USS, Netview, MULTSESS, VPS and Connect Direct.
Experience with recovery of systems in the event of disaster and Data Center migration in the area of Network Infrastructure and Mainframe Connectivity.
